Proverbs 30:33

For as churning cream produces butter,

and as twisting the nose produces blood,

so stirring up anger produces strife.”

This isn't the main purpose of this verse but I remember a story I heard long ago about a kritter (I can't recall what kind) who fell into a bowl of cream.  He thought he was a goner!  So he decided to go down fighting and swam around and a round in that bowl of cream and before you know, the cream turned into butter and he was able to crawl out.  

I guess the lesson in the story is to not give up.  And the lesson in the verse is to not start trouble.  Two valuable lessons to get us all through this life!

Lord, help me to keep moving closer to You each day by staying gentle, peaceful and calm. Guard my words so that I will bring Your peace  into any angry  situation .  Amen.
