Proverbs 16:1
The plans of the heart belong to man,
but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.








Proverbs 16:9
In their hearts humans plan their course,

but the Lord establishes their steps.

Proverbs 16:33

We may throw the dice, but the LORD determines how they fall.

Seems to be a pattern here.  We can make our plans but in the end it is God who has the final say so.  Now I find that very comforting.  The old me didn't like these verses at all.  I wanted to be in control. I would say, God gave us free will and it's up to us to use it.  Now I can sit back and know that God will move heaven and earth to makes things happen. 

Psalm 46:10

 "Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."

Psalm 84:11

For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

So I will be at peace and know that God takes care of everything.
