February ....the month that is all about LOVE!

What is love?  God is love.

1 John 4:8 

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

I'm so thankful that God gave me Bill to love.

Our love began 43 years ago with a phone call.  I remember the excitement I felt after hanging up from talking to him.  Then came the first date to a Scottie wrestling match and Village pizza in a parking lot. 

I first noticed Bill when he played baseball at Kendi Park.  I told my friend that I thought he was cute.  She told his friend who told him, then he was brave enough to called me.

I truly believe that God was our matchmaker.  He put us together at Southmoreland High School in 1974.  We could have been born any year, in any place, but he placed us in Pennsylvania in the 1970's and put us together.

We love each other because God loves us and wants the best for us.

Lord, thank You for Bill.  Keep our love strong, keep us committed to each other through whatever lies ahead. Bring us both to Heaven to live with You forever.  Amen.
