1 Corinthians 13:5
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Dishonor - shame, disgrace
Self-seeking - pride, vanity, haughtiness, egotism
anger - infuriate, annoy, irritate, enrage
keeps no record of wrongs - evil, harm, abuse, criminal, improper

Love is not an easy thing to do.  I look at this list and know that each and every day I do at least one of these things.  And just think...my Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died so that I am forgiven each and every day.  

Jesus, my Lord and Savior, help me to love better.  Take away my pride, and vanity.  Wash me clean from anger and irritation.  Help me to always look forward and forget the wrongs done to me and by me in my past.  Show me how to honor others by honoring You.    Amen.
