Another year has past.  I guess I get this urge to blog this time of the year.  I notice my last post was over a year ago.  I was wondering if God had plans for me to write.  I even started a journal.
I did write but what I really started to do was pray.
I began "crafting prayers."  I will get into my special place each morning to spend time with God before my day begins.  As I read my devotionals I will come across verses that speak to my heart.  I will write them down on index cards and continue with my readings and prayers.  Often I will be brought back to those verses when I think of a certain person or situation that needs prayer.  I will quiet my soul and listen as God creates a prayer inside of me.  I will "craft" that prayer using the verses I wrote down earlier on those index cards.  Using my words and God's words I am usually amazed by the finished product. 
I have had the opportunity to share this way of praying with a Prayer Group at my friend's church.  I don't know if this gift from God will be more than a way for me to listen and respond to Him.  Or could it lead to something more???
I want to be obedient to His call on my life, so I surrender this talent to God.  Use it or not to bring glory to Your Kingdom.
